ANMARI MËTSA YABI WILI lived out her visual works in all free experimental installation and digital directions as her first creative deeds, before her piano studies, which fell into the background for years due to her pianistic activities. While still a student and afterwards, the focus was on studying contemporary scores, bringing them to the stage in a very short time and the next concert was already almost too soon to have learned the next score again. There was only one way to break this routine: Her own creations. She relied on her intensive study of great personalities from the past to the present. The conceptual compositions of John Cage, Pauline Oliveros, James Tenney etc. also gave her the confidence she needed.  She began to compose on the basis of her own visual works, which led to an interdisciplinary artistic activity, including architecture and graphics. To achieve an equal balance, she founded drivingsounds&arts in 2009.
